Navigating the Digital Frontier: Innovations and Challenges in Computer Education
Experience the future of computer education at the ACET Annual Conference! This year's theme encapsulates the dynamic landscape of computer education, emphasizing both the innovative opportunities and the challenges educators face in integrating emerging technologies into curricula.
We invite academics, students, and industry professionals to submit presentations at the conference. Organized by the Association of Computer Educators in Texas, this event offers a platform to share ideas, gain insights, and drive progress in computer education. Join us to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the digital frontier!
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. All submissions will be double-blind reviewed and paper abstracts and proposals scheduled for presentation will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Furthermore, the top five percent of accepted completed papers will be automatically accepted for publication in the ACET Journal of Computer Education and Research – our online, peer-reviewed journal. At least one author/presenter must register for the conference by October 24, 2025, for the paper or presentation to be scheduled for delivery at the conference and inclusion in the Proceedings. Non-presenting participants are also welcome!
The following submission categories are welcome:
- Poster Presentation
- Presentation Summary for Inclusion in the Program:
- The Summary should be typed in 12-point Arial with full justification, Title in bold with upper and lower case, author(s), summarize in 50 words or less, and entice attendance at your presentation.
- Abstracts for Inclusion in the Conference Proceedings:
- The abstract should be typed in 12-point, single-spaced, Arial following the style indicated below. Please format your submitted abstract to contain a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 250 words. Abstracts that do not meet the requirements are not published.
