CIII ULima 2025: IV th International Congress of Industrial Engineering of the University of Lima: Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research and Data Analytics in Industrial Engineering Universidad de Lima, Lima, Perú. Hybrid Format Lima, Peru, October 29-30, 2025

The Industrial Engineering Program at the University of Lima is proud to organize and present the 4th International Congress of Industrial Engineering 2025 (IV CIII ULima 2025): Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, and Data Analytics in Industrial Engineering. This event will take place in Lima, Peru, on October 29 and 30, 2025, in a hybrid format.

As in previous editions, IV CIII ULima 2025 will feature world-class expert speakers who will share their insights and experiences on these cutting-edge topics. Additionally, the academic community is invited to submit short papers presenting innovative research proposals related to the congress themes.

Review Process

1. Ensuring the Integrity and Confidentiality of the Review Process

IV CIII ULima 2025 upholds the integrity of the review process by strictly adhering to the Guidelines on Good Publication Practice established by the  Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) . Any form of misconduct, including plagiarism or improper use of third-party sources, will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript. All individuals involved in the review process must disclose any conflicts of interest and maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they evaluate. Under no circumstances may manuscripts or their contents be shared with anyone outside the review process.

2. Review of Similarity Report

The General Chairs and Program Chairs review the similarity report to ensure compliance with copyright laws, ethical standards, and to verify that the manuscript aligns with the conference's thematic scope and main topics. Manuscripts exhibiting excessive similarities, improper use of sources, or those outside the thematic scope will be discarded.

3. Assignment of Manuscripts for Review

Once approved for review, the manuscript is assigned to members of the Program Committee or external experts specialized in the subject matter. Each submission undergoes a double-blind peer review, evaluated independently by two reviewers. Reviewers provide detailed feedback, categorizing the manuscript as follows:

• Accepted with minor or no revisions.
• Conditionally accepted, but major changes are required based on reviewer feedback. Revised version is subject to a second review for final approval.
• Rejected due to limited contributions or other concerns identified by the reviewers.

4. Final Decision

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the Program Chairs and General Chairs, ensuring impartiality and academic quality of the contributions.

Paper Submission Deadline: Until July 31 , 2025

Notification of Acceptance and Reviewer Feedback: Until August 14, 2025

Camera-Ready Submission Deadline: Until September 15, 2025

Publication and Indexing

• The Proceedings of IV CIII ULima 2025 will be published Open Access on Google Academic  as Conference Proceedings, with ISSN (on line) 3084-7613; ISBN: 978-9972-45-665-5; DOI address for each article; and hoisted in Cross Reference .
• To be included in the conference proceedings, each accepted paper must have at least one author registered for the conference. The organizers will contact the authors to coordinate the registration process. 
• At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the conference, either in person or online, to present and discuss their contribution according to the guidelines set by the IV CIII ULima  2025 organizing committee. Please note that papers not presented at the conference will not be included in the proceedings, even if they have been accepted for publication.
• The accepted paper must include the authors' names, affiliations, and email addresses, and must incorporate all the changes recommended by the review committee. The revised manuscript should be submitted in both Word  and PDF format. No modifications to the list of authors or references are permitted.

Submission Guidelines

• The conference only accepts papers written in English. Authors must refer to the  with the Publication Standard.   
• Paper submissions should be made through the EasyChair congress platform via the following link: Submission on line.  Authors must first create an account before proceeding with the submission. Furthermore, papers must follow the provided template: Word template
• Papers should be between 06 and 08 pages (double-column format) in IEEE style, including the main content and references, and must be submitted in PDF format.
• Papers must preserve author anonymity by removing all identifying information, including the author's name and any personal details, from both the text and metadata.
• Papers must be original, innovative, and unpublished. Furthermore, the paper should not be simultaneously submitted to other journals or academic conferences.
• Authors will be notified of the review committee's decision on the specified date.
