EOCON 2026 is the 7th edition of EOCON, an international bilingual cybersecurity conference focused on practical knowledge, technical expertise, innovation, and cyber talent development in Africa.
The conference brings together cybersecurity professionals, researchers, practitioners, companies, decision-makers, students, and enthusiasts to share real-world experience, demonstrate technologies, discuss emerging threats, and strengthen cybersecurity capabilities.
EOCON 2026 will feature technical talks, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, expert sessions, networking opportunities, and EyesOpenCTF, a 48-hour international ethical hacking competition.
The main conference will take place on November 28, 2026, as part of EOCON Week, running from November 23–28, 2026, in a hybrid format.
Submission Guidelines
EOCON 2026 welcomes practical, technical, research-oriented, and experience-based submissions related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital security, and emerging technologies.
We particularly encourage submissions that provide concrete lessons, technical depth, demonstrations, case studies, original research, tools, methodologies, or actionable insights for the cybersecurity community.
Submissions may cover topics including, but not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity and AI Security
- Cyber Defense and Security Operations
- Application Security and Secure Software Development
- DevSecOps and Cloud Security
- Digital Forensics and Incident Response
- Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting
- Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, and Offensive Security
- Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering
- Infrastructure, Network, IoT, and Critical Systems Security
- Privacy, Cryptography, and Data Security
- Cybersecurity Research and Emerging Threats
- Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity Policy
- Security Awareness and Human Factors
- Cybersecurity Workforce and Talent Development
- The African Cybersecurity Ecosystem
Submissions should clearly describe the proposed topic, its relevance to the audience, the key lessons or takeaways, and the presenter's experience with the subject.
EOCON values practical and technically meaningful content. Commercial presentations or sessions primarily intended to promote a product or service will not be accepted as regular conference talks.

Selected speakers will be invited to present their session during EOCON 2026. Submission to the Call for Speakers and participation as an accepted speaker are free of charge.
Submission Categories
Technical Talks
Presentations focused on a cybersecurity topic, research result, real-world case study, methodology, technical investigation, tool, emerging technology, or practical experience.
Hands-on Workshops
Interactive sessions where participants learn or practice a cybersecurity technique, methodology, technology, or tool under the guidance of the instructor.
Research & Emerging Technology Sessions
Sessions presenting original research, experiments, prototypes, new approaches, or emerging developments relevant to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
Case Studies & Lessons Learned
Presentations based on real-world cybersecurity projects, incidents, deployments, investigations, challenges, or operational experience, with clear lessons for the audience.
Venue
EOCON 2026 will be held online and the closing take place as on-site conference in Douala, Cameroon. EOCON is in a hybrid format combining on-site participation with online access.
