The International Symposium on Foundations & Practice of Security (FPS – 2025) will be held in November 25-27th at Brest, France, as an in-person physical event.
The aim of the FPS symposium is to discuss and exchange theoretical and practical ideas that address privacy, security and cyber resilience issues in interconnected systems. Moreover, it aims to provide scientific presentations as well as to promote scientific collaborations, joint research programs, and student exchanges between institutions involved in this fast-moving field. For the 18th edition, special care will be given to AI-based innovation and applications to transports systems and critical infrastructures.
Both researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their original papers spanning the full range of theoretical and applied work including user research, methods, tools, simulations, demos, and practical evaluations. Researchers must submit their research papers to the conference's regular track.
This year, FPS 2025 is introducing an "industrial track", a track for work applied in real-world environments (simulation in an industrial information system, field experience feedback, etc.) and which therefore involves at least one industrial partner.
Submission Guidelines
Both researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their original papers spanning the full range of theoretical and applied work including user research, methods, tools, simulations, demos, and practical evaluations.
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers describing completed research with substantial results, including methodology, experimentation, and analysis.
- Posters describing work in progress, preliminary findings, or innovative ideas that may benefit from discussion and feedback.
