The Thirteenth International Conference on Semantic Technology for Intelligence, Defense, and Security (STIDS 2025) will be held on the 17th through the 19th of November 2025. November 19th a classified session will be held on NGA’s campus.
STIDS provides a forum for academia, government, and industry to share the latest applied research, development, and application of semantic technology for defense, intelligence, and security applications. Semantic technology is a fundamental enabler ofgreater flexibility, precision, timeliness, and automation of analysis and response torapidly evolving threats.
National security increasingly hinges on our ability to integrate artificial intelligence withsemantic technologies, knowledge graphs, and data fabrics. The STIDS 2025 theme centers on applying semantic technologies to support trustworthy and explainable reasoning across data ecosystems.
Submission Guidelines
We invite submissions of original, unpublished research and application papers that address innovative solutions, architectures, and methodologies integrating semantic technologies with advanced computing in support of national security objectives. We particularly welcome papers that advance the state of the art in semantic interoperability and machine reasoning for data-intensive systems, supporting enhanced situational awareness, predictive analytics, and decision-making capabilities in complex, distributed environments.
Submissions of extended abstracts (1-3 pages), short papers (5-9 pages), and longpapers (10-14 pages) are welcome. Each submission must follow the CEUR-WS template. Each submission will be evaluated for acceptance by at least two members ofthe Program Committee. Decisions regarding acceptance will be based on relevance to this year’s theme, originality, potential significance, and clarity. Because all accepted papers are expected to be presented at the conference, we require that at least one submitting author be a registered participant committed to attending in person. Accepted submissions will be published in proceedings for STIDS 2025. All submissions will be routed through easychair here: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=stids2025
