The 7th International Scientific Conference on Economic and Business Trends Shaping the Future (EBTSF) under the theme "Intelligence, Innovation, and Long-Term Impact in Organizations and Societies" is a premier event organized by the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, the oldest and largest university in North Macedonia.
EBTSF 2026 brings together leading scholars, researchers, and practitioners from across the world to present innovative research, exchange ideas, and advance interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of economics, business, management, and emerging technologies. The conference emphasizes the role of intelligence, innovation, and evidence-based insights in shaping resilient organizations and sustainable economic development.
By fostering rigorous academic debate and international collaboration, EBTSF 2026 aims to contribute to the development of new perspectives, frameworks, and strategic approaches capable of addressing complex challenges and generating long-term impact in organizations and societies.
Held annually in mid-November, the conference coincides with the anniversary of the Faculty’s continuation and will be held from November 12 to 13, 2026, at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Faculty of Economics-Skopje, Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.
The 7th International Scientific Conference Economic and Business Trends Shaping the Future (EBTSF 2026) is supported by the Academy of Management (AOM) – Community Accelerator Program (CAP).
Submission Guidelines
We are inviting submissions to three types of papers:
- Completed research papers
- Extended abstract
- Doctoral symposium papers
A double blind peer-review process will be applied to evaluate all submitted papers.
All submissions must:
- be written in English;
- represent original and unpublished work not under consideration elsewhere;
- include title, abstract, keywords, author affiliations, and corresponding author contact information;
- follow the official EBTSF submission templates.
Authors may submit a maximum of two contributions.
Only accepted and presented papers will be included in the conference publications - Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings.
Selected papers will have the opportunity to be extended and published in the Economy, Business & Development journal and other reputable publications.

Publication
All accepted and presented papers will be assigned a DOI number. Selected peer-reviewed full papers will be published in the official EBTSF Conference Proceedings, which are planned for submission to international indexing databases. Accepted extended abstracts and doctoral symposium contributions will be published in the EBTSF Book of Abstracts.
All accepted papers will be available through the RePEc database (https://repec.org).
The conference aims to enhance the global visibility of the research presented by offering the opportunity to submit research papers for publication. Selected papers will be offered to be extended and published in the Economy, Business & Development Journal (EB&D), and other reputable journals.
Selected high-quality conference papers may be invited to submit extended versions for publication in partner international journals (indexed in Web of Science, Scopus and EBSCO), following the journals’ standard peer-review procedures.
