ANZOPOB Conference (Day 2)
We welcome academics, postgraduate students, and practitioners working on topics related to organisational and work psychology, organisational behaviour, and management. This welcoming and inclusive event features a comprehensive program of peer-reviewed, high-quality, and innovative presentations that are both academically rigorous and engaging.
Scholars will present diverse research, including empirical studies, cases, theoretical advancements, conceptual papers, and methodological innovations across different topics such as leadership, motivation, organisational culture, performance, and wellbeing. This is an opportunity to engage with peers, refine research agendas, and contribute to the ongoing development of our discipline.
The aims of this conference are to:
- Provide a forum to share current research and thinking conducted in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
- Develop and maintain an inclusive community of organisational psychology and organisational behaviour researchers and practitioners.
You are welcome to attend as a delegate or submit an extended abstract for consideration to present.
Abstract submission guidelines (Day 2)
Abstracts must be submitted online and uploaded in the following format:
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Abstracts should be approximately 900 words (not more than two pages, 12-point font).
The abstract should clearly state the:
- Title
- Topic, key research question, or focus of the project (at least 100 words and no more than 500 words)
- Method (or “Key Propositions” for conceptual papers) (at least 100 words and no more than 300 words)
- Results/Findings, along with implications and/or application (at least 100 words and no more than 300 words)
Abstracts must be text only, and you should list references at the end if in-text references are used.
The author's name and contact information should not appear anywhere in the PDF abstract you submit, so that your submission can be reviewed “blind”.
Contact information for all author/s, including name, affiliation and email addresses, can be entered during the online abstract submission.
*Note that we are using the online EasyChair submission system. For this, you need to first register on the system – step 1, choosing “create an account”. Then, in step 2, you can go back into the system to submit your abstract. Reviews will also be conducted via EasyChair – that will be step 3 that you will complete a few weeks following submission.
The submission deadline is 11:59pm, Friday, 4th September 2026.
Academic Conference (Day 2) Submission and Peer Review Process
- You may author more than one submission (e.g., if you are supervisor to multiple students submitting on different papers), but you may only present once over the two days (this is to ensure that we represent a diversity of presenters).
• If you submit an abstract, you will also be expected to blind peer review two abstracts and provide timely and constructive feedback that can be sent to the submitting author(s).
• Your own abstract will be peer-reviewed, and reviewers’ constructive feedback returned to you.
